Privacy policy

Vyndor Smart Living values your privacy. This policy clearly explains which personal data we process, why we process it and which rights you have in relation to that processing.

Last updated: 26 August 2026

1. Who processes your data?

The data controller responsible for personal data collected through this website is:

Vyndor Smart Living — in formation

Heerbaan 2

Harelbeke, Belgium

Email: info@vyndor.be

Vyndor Smart Living is currently in the process of being established. The company's formal registration details will be added to this page once registration has been completed.

2. What personal data do we process?

When you contact us through our website, we may process the following information:

  • your name;
  • the name of your company or organisation, if you choose to provide it;
  • your email address;
  • your phone number, if you choose to provide it;
  • the type of project you are contacting us about;
  • the content of your message or project enquiry;
  • other information you voluntarily share with us during subsequent communication.

We only request information that is relevant to handling your question or project enquiry.

3. Why do we process this data?

We use personal data, among other things, to:

  • answer your questions;
  • contact you about a project enquiry;
  • discuss your requirements and the possibilities for your home or professional space;
  • prepare advice, a proposal or a quotation;
  • keep our communications, website and services secure and reliable.

We process information you provide through a project enquiry where this is necessary to take steps at your request before potentially entering into a contract.

For general communications, security and the proper operation of our services, we may also rely on our legitimate interests where your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.

4. Contact form and EmailJS

The contact form on this website uses EmailJS to technically transmit your enquiry.

When you submit the form, the information you enter is processed through EmailJS infrastructure so that your message can be delivered to Vyndor.

EmailJS acts as a technical service provider and processor of personal data on behalf of its customers. According to information provided by EmailJS, processing may take place in the United States. EmailJS states that appropriate safeguards are used for transfers from Europe, including the European Standard Contractual Clauses.

More information about processing by EmailJS can be found in its privacy policy.

5. Who may personal data be shared with?

We do not sell your personal data or use it for trading with other parties.

Personal data may, however, be processed by service providers that are technically required to operate our website, communications or services. These may include:

  • EmailJS for transmitting the contact form;
  • hosting and infrastructure providers required to make the website available;
  • communications or email providers used to respond to your enquiry.

We only share information where this is necessary for the relevant purpose, where we are legally required to do so or where another valid legal basis applies.

6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some technical service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area.

Where this occurs, we seek to ensure that appropriate safeguards are applied in accordance with applicable data protection rules. EmailJS may process information in the United States and states that it uses appropriate contractual safeguards for European data transfers.

7. How long do we retain your data?

We do not retain personal data for longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

For ordinary questions and project enquiries, our general approach is to delete the data no later than 24 months after the last substantive contact where no further customer or contractual relationship results.

If you become a customer, certain information may be retained for longer where necessary for performance of the agreement, support, warranty, administration, legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

8. How do we protect your data?

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or unwanted disclosure.

No system can guarantee absolute security, but we limit the processing of and access to personal data to what is reasonably necessary.

9. What rights do you have?

Depending on the circumstances, the GDPR gives you rights including the right to:

  • request access to your personal data;
  • have inaccurate information corrected;
  • request deletion of your data;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to certain processing activities;
  • receive your data in a portable format in certain circumstances;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You can submit a request via info@vyndor.be.

To prevent information from being disclosed to the wrong person, we may ask you to confirm your identity in an appropriate manner.

10. Making a complaint

If you have questions or concerns about how we handle your personal data, please contact us first so that we can review your concern.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
